NWR: what color is terracotta exactly and where can i find sheets in that color?

my sister wants a decent threat count sheet in 'terracotta' for xmas... i've been looking around but can't seem to find anything. i'm not even sure i'm looking for the right color! any suggestions?! TIA

its like an orangy-brick color, think pots for planting. I'm sure Garnet Hill would have that color- try www.garnethill.com. they have great items for bed/bath.

thank you ladies!! i will prob go with the ones from jcpenney, because she isn't an online shopper, so in case she has to return them. is 400 count pretty good? i know the higher the better...

okay, ladies... jcpenney doesn't have the queen set available in terracotta and on garnethill.com, it'd cost me $190 for the queen set - a little more than i was looking to spend. the ones on jcpenney were $83.99 - that's more my speed... i already spent $65 on her, so another $200 is out of the question. any more ideas? TIA!!

I love teracotta, actually we painted our kitchen that color. It's sort of a burnt orange earthy color. Like the pots plants come in sometimes....Have you tried Crate and Barrel or BBB? It's a pretty popular color Hope you find it..

I've seen sheets that color at Fortunoff. Our room is painted terracotta. I think of clay pots or spanish tile roofs when I see the color.

do you think the renaissance 600 thread count sheets, in belini on the fortunoff website, is the right color... or is it too orangy? thanks!
