Hi Ladies- I know this is off topic, but I recently got tickets to the Met, and I would like to know what to wear? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. TIA!

a nice dress or skirt + blouse ... it should probably be knee-length or longer.

I wore a dressy skirt, button down shirt, and heels when I went to the opera. I hope you have a wonderful time!

I have even seen people wear jeans. In NYC anything goes.
I agree with rdumbs - Nice pants, boots and sweater are perfect or even a skirt.

Yep, just be comfortable, the seats were tight so I was glad I wasn't wearing a dress!

The MET is very casual and depending where your seats are they may be very close together. I would skip the skirt and wear nice jeans or pants.
