When I went to those Pearl Jam shows a couple weeks back, I found a girl's license outside of the venue. I returned it to her at the show the following night, and she promised to mail me something as a thank you. I wasn't sure if she ever would; I just figured that she got her license back and would actually be able to get home (she lives in Seattle).
Well, the other day I came home to a small package from her in the mail. She had caught one of Jeff's pics and sent it to me!
Backstory here...Jeff is the REASON why I started playing bass when I was 13. So to get a pic from him is just...amazing. To some people it's just a small piece of plastic; to me, it's something that drove the show.
Here's a few photos of it. Now I have to look into how to display it somehow...
Wasn't that awesome of her? She didn't even know that Jeff's the reason why I started playing bass. The front has his initials; the back says 'LIVE FAST'. It's a little worn...which means he beat it up a bit on the strings. Love it.
