I think it is when you lay on back, arms crossed, feet towards the ceiling..and lift your lets..kind of like 'pushing the ceiling tiles up with your feet' get it? It works your lower abs, ankles can be crossed.

Are you talking about the Reverse Crunch?

There are a few different methods. I like to have my knees up on the bench and contract your abs and use them to lift your hips off the floor. It is important to let your ABS do the lifting... not use any momentum or really big movements!

That is very important in order for this to be done properly and work!

I found this on ediets

Reverse Ab Curl
Starting Position:
# Lie on the floor with your back relaxed and your hands on the floor by your hips.
# Keep the upper back pressed into the floor throughout the exercise.
Movement:
# Contracting your abs, raise your butt and gently roll your hips off the floor stopping when you feel a full contraction of the abdominals and can no longer lift your hips.
# Slowly return to the starting position.
Key Points:
# Exhale while lifting your hips.
# Inhale while returning to the starting position.
