I never had enough money to stay at a high end hotel. Ive stayed at the Excalibur which was ok, but on one end of the strip so a decent walk to anything....
I've also stayed at the Monte Carlo which was def a little nicer.
and the Tropicana which was old & outdated but very very cheap.
I would say try to stay in the middle of the strip. A lot of the really nice hotels on the strip will cost you a good $500 a night!![]()
