Well Im still sick...from Wednesday...and my cough is getting worse
Ive been using day and nyquil but it seems they have stopped being effective
im also using vicks vapo rub....and drinking an insane amount of tea
what do you all use when youre sick? ill try anything advice wise you have to offer- Im desperate

If after 3 days it doesn't get better you definitely now need to go to the doc and get a zpack. It is called zithromax and will knock it out within a few days. Feel better!

I usually go on cirpo or levaquin and better in a couple of days. I don't like the zpacks and only go on them if n/t else works (and I've only had to go on it once). Feel better!

i was prescribed amoxicillin and it made me soooo sick so i stopped taking it, called my dr. and she prescribed the zpack. tomorrow is my last day of it and i feel great! i also take advil cold and sinus. that stuff is gooood!

I always use Nyquil, but it stopped working for me too a few years ago when I had lots of colds one winter. After a few cold free months (like 6-9 months) it worked like a charm again. Cold-ease zinc lozenges worked really well too.

i guess its time to admit that i gotta go to the doc....i will call first thing tomorrow never been to a doctor up here before...hope i find a good one

If you arent feeling better by now Id say no over the counter med will work. your better off just going to the dr. and getting a prescription for antibiotics.

DITTO!! Chest colds are so much harder to get rid of because they usually turn into upper respiratory infections. That's where the Z-pack comes in. It's great!
