lol sorry yankee fan here..... i fight my brother about this every year cause he is a die hard mets fan...... the mets start off stong every year and then they choke. They yankees start off shaky and then pick it up.... The mets have to calm themselves. They want the WS so bad i think they try too hard. The Yanks might not make it into the WS this year i am ok with that. Maybe the mets nees someone to massage them in the dugout at the games to relax them lol
but ....i will cheer for them if they are not playing the yanks lol i want a subway series!! This is the last year my brother and I will be in the same house!! I want it so bad lol
hopefully they pick it up!

my dad's theory....
if they get into the playoffs - they are only paid an additional $500 thousand. To us - THE WORLD, to them - NOTHING. The big money is if you make it to the World Series....and that's a lot of effort for nothing if you don't make it.
The minute that game ended - they had tickets to play golf in california, take a vacation to aruba...
It's really sad but he may have a point.

honestly, I cant even talk about it.
Best record in baseball, up 12 games at one point, and now not even in the effing playoffs.
They choke ALL THE FRIGGEN TIME.

I am not a baseball fan but am a semi yankees fan because FH is one so by default that is the team I cheer for, BUT I felt so bad for mets fans today, they showed all the fans lingering around after the game and they looked so depressed, it was painful to watch.
