FH is off this week and I feel bad he is bored at home doing nothing (he was mandated to take a vacation) so I suggested to take off Fruday with the only rule we wont sit home doing nothing. I am need suggestion girls. Anything from NYC to NJ

If you are a Yankees fan they will be home that night for a game. Stubhub has cheaper tickets.
Bronx Zoo was fun when FH and I went.
Bum around Manhattan, Central Park and stuff

I say...do some beach buming it and then jet skiing, and a romantic dinner on the beach =) OR go to Montauk for the day.

Its going to be HOT! Even at night. Maybe walk the boardwalk at night and have a nice dinner on the water somewhere? Long Beach, Island Park, Freeport(Good for ppl watching) LOL. Maybe after dinner listen to some live music- pretty sure one of those locations will have a band.
During the day I'd suggest staying in and relaxing a bit or go someplace where you'll be in air conditioning.

We just went to Seaside Heights, NJ last week and had a great day. We stayed on the beach early in the day, it is very nice and wasn't overly crowded. Then we walked the boardwalk and had lunch and some drinks at a restaurant overlooking the beach and water. There's also rides and a small waterpark there.

The band shell (not the amphitheater) at Jones Beach has free cover bands sponsored by WBAB on Friday nights! This Friday it's a Led Zeppelin band! It's a lot of fun. You can walk on the boardwalk, grab a beer, and enjoy some free tunes!
