FH's niece just turned 10 this year. I bought her some clothes, nail polish, nail files, a bathing suit...I just filled a basket with a bunch of things and I took her to get a mani and pedi...she loved it!

When my nieces turned 10 i took them shopping for clothes and we went to lunch and got mani/pedi's.
Is your godchild a boy or girl?
I think girls are a little easier...if it's a boy, maybe a game if he has Wii or any other gaming system??

you can make her like a little basket with pjs, movies for her and her friends to watch, nail polish, even a bead kit to make bracelets with her friends.

is she into the DIsney channel, you can do the hs musical DVD that is a dance along. They can do the dance moves at the sleep over.

I have a 10 yr old and they lose things, so if you get something, keep that in my mind. My daughter really wanted the ipod, that is big amonst the kids and money for the itunes. The basket is a great idea but don't forget the snacks:) My girl loves the mani/pedi.

anything High School Musical or Jonas Brothers. My little cousin is 10 and her bday party ( i was there lol) all the girls were runnign around screaming about who is hot and who is not about HSM and Jonas Brothers. It was a very long night (a sleepover and yes I was asked to stay over) might I add!!!
