NWR: what to wear to a bat mitzvah?

NWR: what to wear to a bat mitzvah?

I'm going to my first Bat Mitzvah (not the temple, just the party after). I'll be wearing a party dress, but what should FH wear? Is a button down and dress pants good? Its at the Manor East. I've never been one, so I dont know how to dress

so many of them are like wedding these days so figure whatever you would wear to a sweet 16 or wedding is fine. i think it doesnt have to be a suit but maybe more than khakis...dark pants and a dress shirt should be fine

depends on how fancy u know the reception is
if its fancy, then its the same as for a wedding

if its just a cocktail type of party then what u thought of for Brian is perfect

Thanks Lorin!! I was hoping he didn't need a suit...we need to get him one!

Depends on when, but honestly I'd go with a suit. I went to 2 black tie bat mitzvahs recently. Some of them are insane.

it's like going to a wedding...I was just at one in the fall...wear what you would to a wedding.
