Chris Benoit, a WWE wrestler, killed his family and himself over the weekend. Supposedly, he killed his wife on Saturday, his 7 year old son on Sunday, and then himself on Monday. He was supposed to wrestle Sunday but said he couldn't due to a family emergency. Their deaths were NOT caused by gun shots.
This is really bothering me for a bunch of reasons. This guy was crazy for 3 days and no one was around? He left his wife and son dead in the house for days before it drove him to kill himself. And how did he murder them, in some tortorous (spelling?) way? It's so sad and disgusting. She was once a bride like us, thinking she was marrying the most perfect man in the world. Now look. Why? And why in god's name would you kill your innocent child?

What the hell would make a person want to do that? That is horrible. I can't even imagine what those kids went through.

Steroids mess up your head.
Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause of death in all the victims.
I just can't understand why someone thinks they have the right to take away someone else's life ?

OMG...It was Chris Benoit?? As I left the house this morning FOX 5 said a wrestler had been found dead in his home w/ his family!
I cannot believe HE killed them and himself!! I am in shock!!
Your right, that poor girl and their little boy!! Sick!!

FH & I were just talking about this. It is one thing to kill yourself and your spouse but to kill an innocent young child. It just makes me sick and how could he stay in the house after killing both his wife and child. This is just sick!!!

He obviously was a very sick and disturbed person. What he did was shocking and extremely upsetting. I just can't believe it all- no matter who kills a child- I just don't understand it.
Just like that other pregnant woman who was found murdered and pregnant yesterday. I just don't see how people can be like that.

As soon as FH heard about it he said 'I hope it's not a murder-suicide'
It's such a terrible situation. To take an innocent child's life is inexcusable.

my guess is steroids... they can really make people crazy and very aggressive. It's so sad that so many athletes use them like candy and don't realize the very real and very terrible effects they can have on a person.

The recent accounts I read do seem to indicate that the authorities think Chris Benoit was the murderer -- but the autopsy results aren't out -- So we don't know.

I have no idea why someone would kill their children. It doesn't make any sense to me. That's like the guy that drowned his two kids and then hung himself. It makes me sick.

The story I read said he strangled his wife, smothered his kid and hung himself..... There is a lot of sick people in this world and it is soo very sad
