So everyone pretty much knows that I am miserable at my job. Well I just went on the website that my company uses for staffing & MY job is posted on there! It is definetly my position, and it says for permanent hire. Do I say something or keep my mouth shut?

Keep your mouth shut and hightail it out of there.

Are you sure they are not creating another position that is identical to yours?
Either way, if you're miserable, start looking. Now that you are married, you'll need another project to keep you occupied.

Wow..I'm at a loss for words. I would definitely look into my options and not rely on anything at this job. I would of course keep it quiet....that's just wild. Since you are miserable already though, take this as a sign to get the heck out of there while it's still your call!

Wow....I'd start looking! But I'd also keep quiet....
My favorite quote is 'Find happinness in your job, or you'll never know what happinness is'.
Don't stay somewhere you aren't happy....you've got the man of your dreams, go out there and find the job of your dreams! GOOD LUCK

i would contact a head hunter..do your best to find something and resign on your own terms...
worst case scenario and you don't find something and they lay you off, you will have unemployment...
what type of work do u do? if u want, fm me..i hear things from friends all the time.
good luck!

Keep your mouth shut and let them fire you so you can get the severence pay and unemployment. Do not leave if you don't have something lined up.
Hang in there. I know how it feels to hate your job. I left one sh!tty job for another.

You know how I feel Tara!!! I would stay & suck them for everything you are entitled to- apparently they are either looking for a different person to fill your position, or they are hiring another person to expand your department. Either way.. If your not happy, you really should start looking. What is holding you back?

I'm so sorry. I know you want to get out of there but that's so underhanded.
Are you sure it's for your location? Is there too much work for you already, maybe they're hiring someone to help? Could it be for a different department?
Everyone is pretty much in agreement, that you should stay quiet and try to get out of there. Is your job something the LIW ladies could help with? Maybe someone else here could give you a lead? I just wish we could help.

LET THEM FIRE U AND COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT-THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO ME-BEEN W/ COMP FOR 12YRS-WORKED OT FOR TIME OFF NOT PAY-(sorry for the caps)well orig owners sold comp -(jlry comp)(ps i work w/ my sil) well i busted my *** for them and they moved to a new office etc-buisness has not been good in the jlry ind. so they start to let people go slowly- 1st a dias. picker that had been there for 20 yrs(u get the pitcure) well they interviewed this person and i knew i was next(because of salary) they can get someone in 2 do my job for less wage-well they fired me right b4 my vacation(my sil didnt even know until 1/2hr b4 firing me. )so i knew it was coming-(when i saw the iperson being interviewed) in the time since i left they have let 2 other people go . one that had been there for 23 yrs. so if i were u,if you can afford it-let them fire u get unemployment and look for another job. i am planning to go to school. i look at it as a new door opening for me and i am enjoying the summer- i used to work 12hrs day almost every day

I'd do what others have said. Stay quiet...keep looking. If they are looking to replace you (hopefully not the case) let them be the one to seperate you...you can collect unemployment and hopefully get a nice severance package. don't quit or you get nada.

Stay put and let them let you go so at least you can get unemployment.
