I'm currently reading Lasher by Anne Rice. It's part of the Lives of the Mayfair Witches series.

the witching hour is one of my fav books ever :)

My FFIL gave it to me. He owns all of Anne Rice's books. It's so f'ing dirty!!!!! I'm afraid people on the train will look over my shoulder .

I am actually in my 'tired of reading' stage LOL. I was in the middle of reading Interview with a Vampire but I just have not wanted to focus on reading it and I've resorted back to my ipod on the train rides home LOL.

I am going to start reading The Host soon though - heard it's really good

if you dump interview for the host i will slap you!

what I meant to say was FINISH the Interview and then start that. Sorry... it is a pretty good book - I'm just not in reading mode right now

crashing! The Help was my absolute favorite book until I read Water for Elephants. I highly recommend both of those!

Have also heard great things about Sarah's Key. Just started that one. It's supposedly really sad, but really good too.

I'm reading 'Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana' by Anne Rice. It's the sequel to 'Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt' which was amazing. Awesome reading for Christmas.

Many people don't know Anne Rice was raised Catholic but was an atheist for many years grappling with faith (as you can see in her books, I've read most of the vampire chronicles) but she recently came back to the fatih and now she's a strong believer. Her books about Jesus are just as detailed and well-reserched as all of the others and I'm REALLY into them right now.

I just read Freedom by Jonathan Franzen which was really interesting. It's a very modern, and kind of Irvingesque. Speaking of John Irving, 'Last Night in Twisted River' was awesome.

I recommend anything by John Irvng or Tom Robbins.

As I mentioned in a PP I also really enjoyed the Millenium Trilogy.

If you haven't read the Harry Potter series, seriously, try it out.

if you have and you liked it, read His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, starting the the Golden Compass.

Done with that? You MUST read Graceling and Fire by Kristen Cashore.

I read a lot.
