Re: NWR: Whats for dinner?
I'm thinking pasta maybe? I'm getting so sick of normal tomato sauce though. Anyone know how to make pesto sauce? (LOL obviously I'm bored today)

Re: NWR: Whats for dinner?
Girls, I recently bought a deep frying pan with glass lid. I've made two fabulous meals in it so far. My first was :
I browned two small sirloin steaks in margarine, then put in frozen broccoli/carrots, then, added potatoes. I added some water. Cover. I started the temp at high, then, turned it down to between med. and med.high, for about an hour and a half.
My second meal was ham, green beans, and potatoes. The ham was fully cooked; All I did was cut it into small chunks.
Both meals were delicious!!!!!! Mary MOB

Re: NWR: Whats for dinner?
I made a rachael ray dish, chicken and riggies, it was amazingly good, and easy...
Recipe 3 cubanelle peppers, diced into chunks 1 red pepper, diced into chunks 1 medium onion, finely diced 6 cloves chopped garlic 1 jar, pimentos, chopped 1 package chicken tenders, diced EVOO Salt and Pepper 1 can diced San Marzano tomatoes (28oz) 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup chopped basil 1/4 cup parsley 1 lb rigatoni pasta Parmiggano Reggiano for the table!!!
Sautee' the onions and peppers in about 5 tablespoons of EVOO for 7-8 minutes or until soft, then add the chicken tenders and the garlic, cook until tenders are cooked through, about 6-7 minutes, add the pimentos, tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste, and let simmer while rigatoni cooks....around 12 minutes, at the end, stir in the heavy cream, and herbs, drain pasta, add to the sauce, sprinkle in cheese and serve, bring more cheese to the table of course and enjoy!!!
If you use this recipe, hope you enjoy it!!!!!!

Re: NWR: Whats for dinner?
FH is making his homemade sauce with turkey meatballs and turkey sausage. I think we'll have it with whole wheat pasta...or maybe we'll try Quinoia??? Anyone try that?
