NWR: When is the last time you and FH

went on a 'date'? With all the wedding planning/work and so forth time spent together can be limited. What do you do to make sure your FH 'REMEMBERS' who you are and why he proposed!

Since we got engaged 6 months ago we gave up a lot of the stuff we used to love to do, like eating out, dancing etc. so basically i think it's safe to say we haven't gone on a 'real' date since we got engaged But this weekend I'm getting a treat - we're heading to Bridgeview Yacht Club in LI Saturday night and dancing the night away, just me and FH...I can't wait!

Last week we went to the movies to see cars with his daughter. We try to date each other at least once a week now.

we go on a 'date' every weekend. we're still young; wedding planning hasn't made us lifeless

Since we do so much wedding stuff on our day off together (Friday), Saturday night is usually our 'date' night. We go out to dinner, movies, hang out with friends, etc.

No my paper has been done a while ago. I gradutated from UPenn!! I AM SO HAPPY!
A date doesnt always have to be 'Going Out'. It can be going for a walk together. Taking your dog for a walk, Having coffee at your favorite place. Anything you want to do that you both find fun. I agree with you wedding plans dont have to make you lifeless!!!!

It's been a little bit since we've had a date night but he is coming down this weekend for 4 days and we'll probably have ourselves some 'us' time!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

We have a designated steak night once a month, but we go out usually at least once a week either with friends, for dinner, movies, etc ... The steak night is really our one 'official' date night though since the rest are more casual.

Aside form the planning we have two children so we have always made it our business to make time for family,and then ourselves. It's hard sometimes b/c we can get caught up. So every Sunday is for the family,and atleast twice a month we go out by ourselves. Sometimes more sometimes less. But we did go to the movies, and out to eat this past Saturday

we are still the romantic couple we have always been.. our spending has not been the same since we go engaged since we are saving for the wedding and to buy a house, but we still take walks and go for icecream and small dinners, just the 2 of us.. so we can escape from the rest of the world. He is my best friend and I am his so even when we do nothing.. we enjoy it as long as we are together!

We usually go out to dinner on Saturdays but I wouldn't call it a date bc usually we go with a group of friends. Last Saturday we attempted to go out for sushi alone but when we got to the sushi bar my parents were there how could we not join them????
