There's a chain called Country Kitchen and they serve breakfast all day like IHOP but they are SO much better (IMO). They use vanilla in their pancake batter and they are seriously the best pancakes I have ever had! I know there's one in massapequa, one in Setauket and one in East Patchogue. I believe there's a 4th one somewhere else, too, but I'm not sure where. HTH!

I second Sweet Mama's! The one I know is in Northport near the Stop-n-shop right off of 25a. It's a 50's theme style place with EXCELLENT breakfast food. The french toast is amazing (you can ask for crazy toppings like pb chips or ice cream) and the omlets are delicious and ridiculously big (these are the things I've tried thus far). I thought a cute touch was their little coffee pots that you can ask for that hold about 2.5 cups worth.

Maureens kitchen in smithtown. It is a cute and quaint breakfast restaurant. It serves breakfast and lunch only . It closes at 1 on weekends and 3 during the week. It can be loud but it has great food.
