sorry had to vent

Last year I started teaching dance at my school (but it didnt last...the cheer coach had aproblem)

I started a cute song to 'twist and shout'.... alot of shuffles if they are first year, and grouping... it looked so cute though...

dr beat is also a good one.. but a bit fast 8 counts...
umm...
what about love shack?

then u can always have devil in the blue dress... or some more modern songs....

unfortunately we have used twist and shout and devil in a blue dress and love shack

I had those ideas to until they told me they had used those songs in the early years of the studio

Grrrr........... i think im just out of ideas!

**thanks for your suggestions though**

Hey Fellow Dance Teacher!!!!

Try checking the Happy Feet Soundtrack.

Also Hairspray's soundtrack has Nicest Kids in town if you edit the song correctly it can be for 9 to 11 year olds.

Let me know if this helps or if you need more suggestions

Some companies are really nice and have good quility stuff and then there are the OTHERS..I hate those cheapy glittery ones.

we used alot of hairspray songs last year for the show theme

And of course the other teachers have snatched up many if not all of the songs from happy feet:(

but keep them coming

Thnk you!

What about a song from HS musical!?!
The kids were nuts last year over the talent show with that!

Thoroughly Modern Millie has a couple of cute songs on it.

Something from a disney channel artist like Ashley Tisdale or Vanessa Hudgens or High school Musical 2???
