I live in LA and usually fly American to JFK or Southwest to Islip. Jetblue, too, but I've never flown it.

I fly wayyyyy to much for my own liking and most airlines are just fine however I have a personal vendetta against AA (they wouldnt let me board with an electric bass 33 minutes before departure) and their customer service is pretty craptastic.

def. jertblue, used them in 2006 and theywere great, im 2007 i used continental and was very disappointed, the food was actually notbad, but the space was really small......jetblue has a lot of leg room and each seat has a TV with around 25 channels

I usually fly American everywhere. My friends in CA like to take JetBlue. Off the topic: we have same initials, and mine are staying the same after I get married FH and I have same last initial

Hey!
I live in San Francisco and I have found that the best flights are from Virgin America.
Also - check www.kayak.com It is the BEST site for airline tickets. It will search all airlines and you can name your price margins and easily change times, dates etc. It is the best flight finder. Good luck!

I have family in California and they always use Jet Blue. It depends on the airport.

Re: NWR: which airline for california?
I live in Los Angeles but my family all live on Long Island, so I make the trip quite often. I love JetBlue because it's direct but only flies JFK into Burbank or Long Beach, not LAX. You can't beat a personal tv for that long of a flight.
American is good too.
The bottom line is the flight is long, go for the most leg room and best times for your trip.

Can't recommend a good one, but can tell you to stay away from AirTran - they may the cheapest (we could find at the time, anyways), but there is defnitely a reason for the price...no leg room, no arm room, and crazy crowded. No TVs. Blehhh.

JetBlue all the way. We have flown them to San Fran and it was a great flight. They are a great airline in general!

Depends where in California you are going but, I've been happy with JetBlue when I've flown them out there. It's nice to have the direct TV since it's a long trip.
