Wholeheartedly recommend SPAMALOT its the funniest thing i've seen in years. IF FH enjoys Monty python he'll LOVE that!!!!

Definitely Wicked.
Phantom is FH's first Broadway play and since we saw it, we have been 3 times and seen many other plays.

Spamalot is great! Avenue Q is probably more up the guys' alley.
My parents just saw a preview of 'Young Frankenstein' last night & LOVED IT!!!!!!

I would say either Wicked (I saw it and LOVED it) or Rent. I am thinking of getting tickets for Rent for DH, since he likes the movie.

ooh that's tough. I haven't seen Jersey boys yet and really want to, but Wicked was so amazing. I loved every minute of it.
I also agree with another poster that Avenue Q was fantastic. FH and my brother saw it, too, and they're not usually so into plays. They both loved it.

SORRY - read post wrong. I really enjoyed Rent and hear Spring Awakening is a cool musical also. Wicked was good (but went with my mom.)

Wicked and Jersey Boys were really good. We just saw Spring Awakening yesterday and that was good as well.

i'm not a fan of broadway in general. it is all a little too over the top for me.
the only thing i have ever liked is les mis.
but my family really enjoys it and they said they LOVED jersey boys. my sister and my mom went and then my mil went and they all raved about it. they can't understand why i don't like broadway lol but it's just me.
my sister also saw wicked but preferred jersey boys and from what i understand-- if you are buying the tix for your hubby then i would prob go with jersey boys. my hubby would not be into wicked at all but i think he would be interested in jersey boys b/c of the story.
