FH and I are thinking of going in January for my birthday/christmas/FH birthday since we're saving for this wedding. I've never been, and FH has only been once. I ask for his opinion in hotels, and he says 'whatever you'd like baby'.

Love Vegas.. I have stayed at the Mandalay Bay, Venetian and the Bellagio. Loved the Bellagio.

My fav was mirage!!!!! If you want good deals treasure Island is good, I have stayed at paris, treasure island, mirage, monte carlo and golden nugget.

omg Vegas is awesome! ive stayed at many places!!
I would suggest staying somewhere in the middle of the strip! Just cause its convenient! NY, NY, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, Excalibur...They are all amazing so you cant lose!

do you have a BJ's or Costco membership? Sometimes they have these packages you can buy that are discounted for 3-4 nights in vegas... I believe my friend's got flight and hotel for a strip hotel like Caesars or New York New York...
Other ideas are staying at MGM Grand, Excalibur, etc... basically anywhere on the strip...

When fh and i went last summer we booked through southwest's website under vacations we stayed 3 nights ar bellagio plus flights for about 600 beautiful room and hotel loved the location

If you want lower priced I would stay at the Imperial Palace owned by Harrah's [great comps]
If you want off the strip the Rio is awesome
The Mirage and TI are the younger crowds but you may pay more for them. [They are also in the center of the strip]
I never stayed in MGM grand but it looks good and is on the far side of the strip.

I've stayed at the palms, mandalay bay and the mirage.
mandalay bay was my fav bc of the pool and beach...but the palms has amazing restaurants.

i think the mirage is the best. yes the bellagio is nicer but it costs more. the mirage is well kept and a great value. found it a touch nicer then TI.
