OK - I'm looking into getting an iPod, but wasn't sure whether to get a mini or a regular one. I certainly don't have enough songs to fill up a regular one, but I've heard that it's more sturdy and less likely to break than the mini. I'm also a big U2 fan and was thinking maybe to get the special black U2 iPod. What do you think?

Well, the only thing I can tell you is that my fiance is the BIGGEST music fan and he only has 980 songs on his after months of having it. Don't spend the money on the 10,000 song one!

I love my Mini ipod. I've dropped it many times, and it still works great. When I was deciding between the mini and the regular, I found the mini was much easier to work out with b/c it's smaller.
If you buy either, get a case, they scratch easily.

i bought the regular one for FH for christmas and you would be surpised how may songs you really do put on it...you can share music with other ipod people somehow...i would get the regular becaue the price is not too much higher and i seem to think it prob is better quality i suggest with either the mini or the regular you get the cover for it, either the 'SKIN' or the leather cover because no matter what they scratch a lot

Get a mini!! I want one so bad...FH has one and loves it.
They are also on sale now...from $250 to $200!

you can buy them online for .99 but you download them from cds and other peoples cds too...

yes! get a cover - the pretty shiny back gets scratched so easily - plus, if you drop it, it absorbs some of the shock.

I have the 20gig and it suits my purposes just fine. I didn't get the mini because you can get so many more songs on a 20gig for only 100 dollars more. Not to mention books on tape (if you can call it that now)

I have the mini & love it. ....you can always take songs off & put new ones on...I've dropped it on the street twice & it still works...
