whenever i go to my parents i take the Northern state to the cross island. but I think I would reccomend taking the NSP to the Clearview instead, cause the cross island is always jammed!

Depends on where in Whitestone. Clearview and CIP north are miserable in the mornings because of the bridge traffic. I'd say take LIE or GCP to francis lewis or another side road west of there.

Van Wyck to Whitestone Expressway. Get off the exit before the bridge - I think it's either 6ht or 8th ave.

I think there is one industrial building when you first get off the exit. Then it's nothing but HUGE

I always favor the side street of the LIE and down side streets like Springfield. it really depends on where you're going.

take glen cover north to northern blvd
northern blvd west to clearview expwy.. then get off b4 the toll
or take ur chances with cross island.
@ 9am it shouldnt be that bad.. most traffic is btwn 8-9
id take cross island and just listen to z100

ITA - you have alot of options if theres traffic btw the LIE, Northern blvd, Francis Lewis Blvd and Cross Island.
It looks like its in the area of cherry valley. So you could also do Northern to Francis Lewis, cross over CIP and take Clintonville
