NWR: Why does NBC's new show 'Friday Night Lights' air on Tuesdays?

Name it Tuesday Night Lights! lol...

People are gonna get so confused as to when it's on by having Friday in the name, yet it's on on Tuesday. I understand it's about H.S. football that's PLAYED on Friday nights, but why couldn't they AIR it on Fridays?

It's like airing Saturday Night Live on Thursday.

Okay... I'm bored.

you are definitely in a funny mood tonight.

... here's my contribution... why do they call it hump day... don't most people 'get some' on the weekends?
