We are looking for wndow treatments for the entire house. Can anyone suggest a place to use? I don't want blinds this time around. I was tinking of calling calico corners but i want to make sure that they are priced well. does anyone have any experience with them or another vendor you care to share??

I need window treatments too. I was thinking of doing them myself, but I don't know if I'll have the time. I know there's a wholesale fabric place right here in Garden City.......
Oh, and by the way, does Calico Corners actually do treatments? I didn't know that.

We're doing window treatments, but we are doing them ourselves with FstepMIL. She bought tons of fabric that was all on sale at Jo-Ann's. But there is a fabrice store right off of Glen Cove Rd. too...I think that's Voice Rd. across the street from Bass.

I'm not talented in that area either. Unfortunately, I refused to pay attention when my grandma tried to show me how to sew Luckily FstepMIL is handy at it and is even making seat cushions for our window seat.
Why don't you try calling them up and asking.

I am also buying drapes/curtains and calico corners was a bit to much for me. My windows are long and wide and I need a lot of panels for each window. I have had great luck at Fortunoffs. They have a lot to choose from and their prices vary. They also have great sales.
