Anyone have their wisdom teeth pulled? I'm having mine taken out tomorrow and I am terrified!
Any advice to help keep me calm??

Are they giving you general anesthesia or local?
I had all of mine done when I was 14, they were all coming in impacted and very painful. Honestly, it was no big deal, I was a little achy for a day or 2 and didn't even really need the Vicodin, I was good with the Motrin. Don't worry

I think they're giving me local. I wish it were the anesthesia that would knock me out! lol
Mine came in fine but cavities are forming and the dentist said their hard to fix...

Ditto. I felt pressure once the local started wearing off, but not bad at all...
I had general anesthesia and local

I had them pulled years ago (I had 2 in total). I actually had them do one side at a time so I would be able to eat on the other side of my mouth so I had to go for 2 visits to get them all out. BUT, I did have them knock me completely out when they extracted them. There was no way in hell I was going to stay awake for that. And they gave me a hefty prescription of Vicodin for the pain which I enjoyed thoroughly LOL

Had all four taken out at once. The pain pills worked great. I think I was feeling almost back to normal in about 2 days. Don't worry just relax and it will be over soon

i had 3 wisdom teeth pulled at one time. with only local anasthesea. its not so bad. just annoying afterwards because your hungry but you have to be careful what you eat.
