NWR- Would you...

NWR- Would you...

If you had the opportunity to go to Tahiti for 10 days – Air Hotel Meals Transfers for 1400 bucks

Would you go without your FH?

See, my job offers “FAMS” to familiarize myself with the destination so that way it’s an easier sale then it already is ;)!

Im so TORN. It’s the not the 1st time that I let something this good pass.

I called the agency and they said NO companion supplements- then I called the man and he said

“Um, can I come? I said well no, but how would u feel if I took this offer FOR WORK lol…he’s like Vickie, I wouldn’t go anywhere we haven’t been together without you. Not even DR (the boys wane go there for the Bachelor party) I said REALLLLLLLLLLLLY? Aww, well ok then I’ll find something we can both go on.

(IM really Sad though, this is for work…but I guess being 17 hours away and not being able to take in the islands w/o him would make me say HAHAH wish u were here!!) LOL jk, I’d be sad!

well,i guess for our 1 yr anniversary ima make him take me to tahiti lol

Re: NWR- Would you...

i wouldnt go

i dont think you are wrong if you DO go since it kind of is for work

BUT i went to italy for two weeks last october with my family, for free and had a great time - i love it there BUT i cried every single day, every time i talked on the phone with FH and every time someone asked me about the wedding.

I went away for six weeks to Italy without him a few years ago and I was fine . . . something about being engaged/married changed it for me and I was miserable.

I would go. And if FH was presented the opportunity, I would want him to go. I'd miss him like CRAZY, but if it were for work, I'd totally understand!!!

I guess it all depends on if you think you will have a good time without him there?

If its only 1400 but you are going to miserable, then its not worth it. If you think you'll be able to enjoy yourself then you should go for it...

Exactly my feelings. And if I realy wanted to go too - I'd pay for myself. Even if it was $4000 more.

I feel for you...I get FAM offers all the time for work too and I hate the ones where they say NO to guests. Is this a no even if you pay for his whole trip?

well, $4000 could go towards the rest of my flowers lmao!

and really each day id be checkin out hotels with older people eating with them...it's better off i dont go and save it for some other time. i get the offers always

plus- i think it's bc it's HOW he said it to me i made my choice to stay. :) bc i always like to say i get it my way lol

If it is one of those that you have to eat and do everything with the group then definately pass it up. I would save it for the ones where you get free time.

I always get it my way too hahaha!

i agree...i would totally go and if fh was presented i would say go! but i guess i get this mentality since i do alot without fh anyway since he is in japan and before that in San Diego. But actually FH is going to Hawaii right before he comes home for xmas this year. he is going for 7-8 days and for free (marine corps paying) for some training during the day but the weekend off. and he doesnt have to go but he gets more training on weapons he is not too familiar with- he asked if he should go. i joked around saying HEY we are supposed to go there on our 1 year...but then said DEF go

i wouldnt go without FH, I have this thing that i dont like the idea of going anywhere new without him or him going anywhere new without me. i want to experience new places together.

$1,400 for tahiti sounds great but i dont think i would have as much fun as if i was with fh

Re: NWR- Would you...

I originally read it to say 'with FH' and i was thinking, are you NUTS, of course!!!

Without, I don't know. It's really lonely travelling myself especially to places I would want to be with FH.

Theres no way he could book a separate flight and just so happen to rondeuvous with you in the hotel? What if he's just some random guy you picked up at a bar and brought home ... every night? LOL

If there's no way around it I probably would still go, but I'd be lonely

I would go. Life is so short. I think that a big part of a relationship is allowing your partner to experience things that make them happy in a selfless way. I would let FH go as well and I would send little presents for him in his suitcase.

How long is two weeks apart in the scheme of a whole lifetime, ya know?

i wouldnt go because i would miss FH too much - I miss him even when I visit my parents in Florida for a long weekend - and because I get homesick, even if I am at my parents house in Florida and FH is with me and I would miss my DOG terribly!!!!
