NWR: WOuld you leave a note if you hit a parked car????

This morning I walked out to my car to find that someone had completely SMASHED the entire front end of my brand new car!!!!...my question is how many of you would actually leave a note???

i would and i HAVE. when i was first learning to drive....i was living in NC at the time. was backing out of a parking spot in my ex-BF's truck, and looking behind me...and started cutting the wheel---and cut the truck into the side of a BMW parked next to me!!!! needless to say a huge dent/scrape was left, and we left a note with out info and she called us the next day and was quite happy we did. our insurance handled it and it was no biggie!

i'm sorry someone didn't leave a note! i bet tey didn't have insurance!!!

I actually hit a parked car once when I first started driving and didn't leave a note...Lo and behold a couple of years ago, someone hit my car and didn't leave a note so I guess it came back to bite me in the a$$! So now, I would definitely leave a note!!!

o dont worry sweetie.....thats happened to me three times already...my insurance company must think im insane! .......and since i know the feeling i would prob leave a note

I once hit a parked car, but MY car ended up being the one smashed (3 months after I got it...I just misinterpreted the radius of my car pulling into a parking spot) and I didn't even leave a SCRATCH on the car! So needless to say, I didn't need to leave a note.

This happened to my mom at the gym, it looked like someone backed into her and smashed the tail light and they didn't leave a note.

So sorry! I would have been seriously angry too, especially with a brand new car.

When I first got my license, I side swiped a park car and didn't leave a note. I guess I can chalk it up to being young and immature. Now, I would def leave one and own up to it!

I'm so sorry about your car though!!! That really stinks!

I would I have had that happen to a friend not to long ago when she came out of Target... She was sooo upset no one left a note...

I went to Queens College and parking there is HORRIBLE. Me and my friend came out of class one day and she had a note on her car. It said:
Sorry I hit your car. I'm not going to leave any information though. People are watching me and I just wanted them to think I was leaving it. Have a nice day.
How messed up is that?
