NWR: WW at Home... Some Questions

Hi! I started today tracking my points (last week I eased in by switching to water all the time, and eating salads for lunch and dinner).

Imagine my surprise when I saw I only get 20 points per day.. that seemed a little low (I was once on lifetime in 2004)... how did they change the plan?

Imagine my surprise when I realized that a cup of coffee and two slices of toast were 5.5 points... wow, but I'm glad I'm tracking it helps me stay on budget for the rest of the day.

How do you all manage eating out on weekends? I'm good during the week because I'm not eating socially, but weekends? Crap all... I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

(So far I've lost 3 lbs in the last two weeks and about 9 lbs from my highest weight in 2004)

I'm doing core...makes it easier to go out. you can eat steak, chicken etc and a baked potato, vegetables etc and not worry about the points.

I'm not good with core to me 'eating until you feel satisfied' means eating until I need to open my pants because I feel so full

i never do too well on the weekends. i try to eat a light breakfast and NOT SNACK when i'm home all day.
As far as going out........i try to pick the healthiest thing on the menu. AND. i try to not eat my flex points all week. that way if we go out to a nice dinner i dont feel so guilty cuz i have all the extra points.

keeping busy helps too. i'm usually cleaning, doing laundry or out with the dog on most weekends.

but yea, weekends are rough lol. esp with alll the holidays comming.......cringe.

i'm not on WW, BUT i have to say i am soooooooo excited that i discovered their bagels. I loooove bagels but hated the amount of calories they have in them. On the weekends i now make myself a bagel sandwich for lunch using WW bagels yeay!!

I get only 21 points a day. I seem to make it manage.

I'm guessing my coffee is zero cause I take it black. But have you tried the WW breads (1pt for 2 slices) & bagles (2pts a bagel)? They are quite good. Or the Thomas' light english muffins which are 1 pt I believe.

Lately I've been making smoothies as breakfast. I put the one cup of non fat milk in my blender with the WW Carmel Latte Smoothie mix (or the chocolate), and I add coffee + ice then blend it all up.

I get my coffee & 2 milks in for 3 pts.
