So, I have a little problem that will turn into a BAD problem if I don't figure out what to do:

We have kittens. 8 of them. Nursing off mama ferral kitty behind our garage. Cute huh? Yea real cute when FH has a crazy akita and 2 sheeba enus roam the backyard, and specifically, that area where they are!!!!!

FH and I blocked them with gates (the children gates) and chairs and garbage pails but they need to leave. FH found them yesterday morning, and I told him that if Mama saw him she would take them and leave. WRONGO. Sizzzzzlee $lut Kitty decided to sit put.

They are freakin so cute but FH's dogs will, bluntly put, KILL THEM.

I need help. Does anyone know a phone number I can call that will come get mama and the babies? Today. Now. I'm willing to pay. They have fur but their eyes are closed.

I'm not exactly sure if they'll come pick them up, but there's a place in Queens called Bobbi and the Strays and they'll take in the cat and kittens. Here's the website with all their contact info. Good luck!! I wish I could help more but I have two giant dogs that would probably kill them mistakenly, too!

Call the ASPCA or North Shore....preferrably the ASPCA and explain the situation...they will come get them.

I spoke to the ASPCA this morning, and they were only able to give me phone numbers of places to call. No luck yet though :(

Very few places will come get them, most won't even take them if you bring them all to the place. You could try posting on craigslist in the pets section. Some of the smaller rescue groups are on there a lot. The problem is that they are so small, they would need to go to a foster home. Shelters don't keep them there that small because they can't be vaccinated or adopted until around 8 weeks. I'm not sure where you are, but you could try contacting the Purrfect Kitty Shelter in Plainview and they can at least give you suggestions on where to take them, or maybe even the vet you use for the dogs.
