NWR: Yasmin BCP

is anyone on this? did you gain weight?

I tried it, it gave me an itchy rash. I'm allergic to something in it. Seems to be rare, though. When i asked about it on LIF, it came with good feedback.

I was on it for about 6 months with no problems. I actually switched to Yasmin because the other one I was on made me gain weight.

I've been on it for a year now. No real weight gain, but my breasts got bigger - and I'm a well endowed girl to begin with!!!

I'm on it and I haven't noticed any side effects. I think it depends on the woman using it.

I've been on it since November 2004 and haven't experienced any negative side effects. In fact, my doctor even told me it was highly unlikely I would when she prescribed it to me.

i was on it for over a year...and i didn't gain weight right away...it was gradual.

I was on it for about a year and a half. No weight gain issues... I liked it better than the Ortho (I was on before)..... but, the hormones did give me some dizzy spells in the beginning... doctor said it was normal......... also, same dizzy spells when I came off of them...

Its a Super low hormone BCP, so you shouldnt have many side effects or weight gain, however you may have spotting every couple of months or so, I was on it, and even after being on it a year I still had spotting between periods some months. But this will happen with any low hormone pill.

this is only my 2nd month on it and i havent noticed anything too much as far as weight gain is concerned but i was curious

I am on Yasmin also..started on Aleese and then I switched b/c it was making me nuts! Yasmin is oooo much better, and I really havent had any issues!

I was on it for two years and my breasts went up a whole size, but since I was working out, I didn't notice a big weight gain.

Told ya! I love it! I eat as if the world is ending, so I can't blame any of my weight gain on BC. My mood swings though are in check, I was a raging beotch on Ortho. Poor J.O....

I actually lost weight on it. I was on it for 2 years and last year I started having terrible side effects ( almost passed out in the shower a few times, terrible stomach problems, and anxiety). Not all people have side effects, just make sure to listen to your body.
