I ask because I have been suffering terrible PMS for years. I get insanely weepy every month, and I get pretty bad headaches as well.
I hear great things about Yaz....only problem is that my insurance doesn't fully cover it, so it will be an extra $50 a month. Which isn't ridiculous if it helps, but don't want to shell out the extra money if its not going to make a significant difference!

Re: NWR: Yaz
I have terrible PMDD, but Yaz has helped some...I am still weepy, but its a little better. Id sugguest u try it!!
I would not pay that I was paying that for years until I realized there were generic brands with the same affect. I say try it for a few months and see how u do - if there is no change go back to what your insurance will cover...

Re: NWR: Yaz
I'm on it, so far so good. The only thing I notice is instead of getting PMS, I get crazy hungry....seriously this week I've been food shopping TWICE I just eat everything, its disgusting...ok that was like a mini vent, sorry.
But in all seriousness I like it, it works good, no compliants.

Re: NWR: Yaz
I had used Yaz and love it but unfortunately my insurance stopped covering it so I switched to Seasonique (which does have a generic version called Jolessa).

i'm on it and i've been on it for two years now. i like it. i am still a little annoying around the 'special time of month' but I am NOTHING like I was before. Try it and see if you like it.
