Anyone taken it?? I have been on Yasmin for years and love it but my gyno recommended Yaz for shorter periods- just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it... thanks!

I have been on it for 4 months now and NOW I like it. The first 2 1/2 months of getting used to hormones again (I was off for a few years) was a B!tch. FH was ready to take me off! But if your just switching, you will probably love it!!!

I have tried every BC you could imagine and YAZ is the first one with no side effects except TREMENDOUS Boobies!! I mean its ridiculous, I was all ready a DD and am popping out of those bras and have only been on YAZ a month...a few of my girlfriends are having the same issue!
They had to order my wedding dress in a 14 b/c of my chest, the rest of me is a 10! Its insane!
Other then these monsters...I love it!

my doctor just switched me - no problems yet.. my doctor was also telling me in a year or so they are getting rid of yasmin and most of the other pills you take the water pill for the week - too many woman were getting pregnant off the usual pill b/c they wouldnt bother taking the last pills b/c they figured they would be getting their period soon.

Doctor might just want you to change it because of pharmacutical reps...its common...mine put me on loestrin and had a mil free samples meaning a rep was just in!!!

I'm on my 3rd month on YAZ and I've been having some breakthrough bleeding. 1st month on the pill my boobs were huge! but now they're back to normal why oh why can't they stay big!

My 1st month on Yaz, my cycle went on and on and on. Everything was fine afterwards. I haven't noticed any side effects.

I get mine mail order--3 months at a time, which is more cost effective.
I was thinking about going back on BC. But I just become to crazy on it.

How long did you have breakthrough bleeding for?? That's what scares me the most! Is it just spotting or is it all of a sudden bleeding like you have your period and ruining everything you are wearing???

I didn't get my period at all for 3 months, and was very, very cranky on YAZ. I hated it. Not having a period was stressful and scary!

I didn't have any Breakthrough bleeding at all when on it. The only time I had a spotting problem was when I skipped my period (so as not to get it on my wedding day) I had a bit of spotting that whole month. But I was told that might happen. I didn't need anything more than a panty liner. HTH
