So funny you asked this because I was going to post looking for a studio in Suffolk too. My gym only does it on week day mornings -- not very accommodating.

That is too far North for me. I am in Brookhaven but I work in Amityville so anywhere in that route works so I can go after work.

There is one in Holbrook across from Villa Lombardis- I have not been there though. There is one on Bellemeade road in East Setauket that everyone says is great ! The town of brookhaven also has classes that are inexpensive 6 sessions for $30 - look on the town website for dates/times. I was going to Danielle at Revive in Port Jeff Station with my old office but it was expensive.

I looked on yellow pages.com

Bikram is sooooo addicting! I love it!

Bikram Yoga is ideally practiced in a room heated to 105°F (40.5°C) with a humidity of 40%. Classes are guided by specific dialogue including 26 postures and two breathing exercises. Classes last approximately 90-minutes.

Now, the hot room is that for sweating purposes or being more flexible?

a vigorous yoga session at this temperature promotes profuse sweating which rids the body of toxins. It also makes the body very warm, and therefore more flexible. It makes it easier to do the poses. Also, burns alot of calories and is aerobic also is good for the mind because you have to work very hard to concentrate.
