NWR: Zombie Race this weekend!

FH and I are doing a Zombie 5k Race this weekend. I was just wondering if there were any other Brides doing it???

For those of you wondering what it is...

It's a 5k with a bunch of obstacles and a mud pond, and yes... Zombies chase you! lol Can't wait!

I'm doing it!!!! We should meet up! FH and I named our team 'The Twinkie Treasure Hunters' in relation to the movie Zombieland. LOL.

We registered through a groupon so we didn't get to pick a team name! Have fun!!! I think it's going to be so much fun!

We registered through the groupon too and they had us do a team name when we signed up online. Did you register on the zombie race website and put in your discount code? just buying the groupon isn't enough you need to register. Have tons of fun!

We did well! Didn't go too hard and finished the race in under an hour. We were in the 11:00am wave. We really enjoyed it and it was a great workout, i was sore for 3 days lol.

We'd definitely do it again, but the next race is in August or september and it's just too close to the wedding for us. We might consider it though. they're doing another zombie race at the same location. I've looked up savage race and a bunch of others but they're upstate and we don't want to travel just for a few hour race you know? If i hear of anything else i'll let you know!

Same here! We were sore till yesterday! I've been looking up a bunch as well... I found one in Brooklyn called Rugged Maniac and theres a race called Long Island Adventure Race.

We won't be doing the one in September either... A week away from BOTH of our weddings, doesn't sound like a smart idea lol
