If anyone here watches MTV anymore, they have a new reality show calle My super Sweet 16...imo its a revamped RICH GIRLS but now its about different spoiled brats and their uber fabulous sweet 16 parties
they wear gucci shoes, have a guest list size of 700, demand their father get someone famous for the band, and go to Paris to get their one of a kind dress
and we thought we had worries with the finances for our wedding!!!!!
please someone tell me they get as angry as i do when they see shows like this!!!!!

Super Sweet 16 is rediculous! The one girl had 300 people there! That is bigger than my wedding! And the other girl got her sweet 16 dress from demetrious! Get a grip!

I saw two episodes so far the one where the two girls have the party together and the other one where the girl gets her dress at Demetrios-I was only watching because I couldn't believe what I was seeing-I didn't see the one where the girl goes to Paris to get her dress but I saw the commercial where she is like we have a problem Dior is like closed-give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was soo bent on being different when i was 16 that i had a dinner with 6 close friends as Neidersteins restaurant (right by my hs) in Middle Village!!!
I also had a choice.....a huge party or a trip to paris/ rome with my mom
well i chose the trip (it wasnt anything fabulous- it was a school trip but it sure made my sweet 16 memorable!!!

OK, the first one made me sick. That girl was so annoying and high strung, definitely will be a ntjob once she's older.
The second one...OMG - how rich are those girls? And the blonde one was like 'the party was nothing special'...WOW! And the way she spoke to her dad, I would never...times do change!
And next week's one...that little girl is showing her ninnies like it's nothing...she's 16!

unbelievable.. but when you have that much money a $100000 Sweet 16 is a drop in the bucket...gosh, what are these girls weddings going to be like!!
my Sweet 16 was in the basement of a my house and my mom cooked for everyone...the only person I knew who had big sweet 16 was a friend who was Greek...otherwise, it was a night at TGI Fridays with a hundred bucks from Dad and six of your friends!

and the second one the girl got a 05 mustang as a gift. i think i got a bracelet for mine!

The only thing that made me more angry than this show (just due to its sheer obnoxiousness) was when I was on Preston Bailey's website and saw that some LI parents hired him to do their son's BAR MITZVAH!! Just a *bit* over-the-top, no?

I didn't even have a big sweet sixteen. My mom brought me and a group of friends into the city. We walked around and had lunch together. I didn't even know sweet sixteens got so out of hand. It's disgusting.

Yeah, she wanted $500K. She's a little outrageous herself...but one of the girls dad was a big shot at CAA.
