NWR...BUT marriage related...I am in trouble

So I talked to my FI this morning and he was telling me 'guess what I am doing.... something that I have never done before' So I say oh yeah whats that and he replied

'Making eggs'

So I say you kidding me right??? And he says no...why you know how to make them??

So I reply YES!!

I could not believe that he had never made eggs...I mean eggs...are you kidding me!

He knows how to make 2 dishes...1 called Beef Timiyaki and the other Chicken Timiyaki (he substitutes the Tim for the Teri)

Thank GOD for my Betty Crocker cookbook! I better make him read that cover to cover on the way to our HM!

My FH hates eggs, but I do have to say he's a great cook.

That is so cute. I bet he looked so proud of himself. At least he's trying.

My FH can make some great omlettes. He can only make breakfast food.

My FH can only make fish, whenever he trys to make something else, it's horrible. But he gets points for trying!!

Aww Kathleen, you should be proud of him!! His version of teriyaki is too cute, I was wondering what timyaki was until you explained it!!

Honestly, I'm not much of a cook either. FH enjoys being in the kitchen tho, and he's pretty good!!

Well if you are looking for something to buy him as a gift....I think basic cooking lessons would be ideal. Let me know if you can get a 2 for 1 because my FI thinking making easy mac is gourmet cooking.

Yes it is cute....I cannot tell you what either tastes like but he loves saying those are his specialities

You can get a lot of EGG RELATED ITEMS now at a discount since Easter is over. Show him how proud you are of this accomplishment!

Too funny. My FH is like a child too sometimes, so proud that he did some menial task that I've been doing for years!

I'm pretty lucky; my FH is the cook in our house. I'll bake from time to time (not lately with the diet!) but mealtime is all about him in 'his' kitchen.
