What do you think the best cell phone service is??
I have nextel and I hate them, I wanna get a new phone but dont know what company to go with.

I have Cingular...it's okay...I beg to differ with their ads...if they have the most dropped calls, I can't imagine what is going on with other networks! But yes, ANYTHING is better than NexTel...even the old can in the string method is more reliable!

If you have Nextel, can you still transfer to Sprint for free since they are one company? So you don't have to pay a cancellation fee. This is what I did. I did not like Nextel.. Verizon was another one of my favorites also... and they have the razor phone... Good Luck!

I have verizon, and I hate it, drop calls all the time, and too many places where I can't hold a signal. 'Can you hear me now, my a$$'

IMO, Cingular, all the way. I had TMobile (not so good) and Sprint (better) and Verizon (still even better) but Cingular gave me a rocking deal and I got a razer phone and a 20% monthly discount because I am a federal employee. Verizon is good but too expensive. Cingular has been fine so far and I am saving a bundle. Added Bonus: They are also a responsible corporate employer, meaning that they treat their employees better than the other wireless providers, all of which are horrific to work for. That mattered to me. Good luck.

i have cingular and love it. they bought at&t a few years ago, so they have REALLY good service. fh gets bad service around ,y house with verizon. tmobile is supposed to be pretty good in the city, but not really anywhere else.

I have verizon and it is fine most of the time (except at my house where no one has service ) FH has Nextel and it is by far the worst service out there. He never has good service!!!!

yeah ditch the nextel!!!!! I have Verizon and really havent had any problems with it....not even in the city. Is Al going to switch too?

i have cingular....i hated it but now its def better!!
My whole family has verizon though...so i kind wanna switch too that BUT we are in a contract for another yr...so i guess we will wait it out!
I really like verizon. I have them both for my blackberry and cell phone and I have never had a problem with them. I have had a few other carriers and still find Verizon to be the best! HTH

Toss up between cingular and verizon. I love my cingular service, but FH and I had great reception with verizon when we had their plan.
