NWR:Christmas gift help for 7 year old boy

HELP!!!!!!!

I need one more gift for my nephew.

He's 7 years old. Hates sports. Loves animals.

I bought him one of those webkinz toys (He gave Santa a whole list and everyone in my family each picked one).

He loves to read, so I thought maybe a gift card to Borders so he can pick all the books he wants. But does a 7 year old really understand the concept of a gift card?

I was thinking a small starter aquarium, but my sister said no to that.

I'm stumped :(

As a reading teacher I have to say to get him books!!!

But you could get him Toys R Us bucks so he can pick out what he wants.

Not sure if they still have those little hand held pets that you have to feed and walk....that is cute.

They have really cool ant farms that are easy to maintain

I vote for something educational. i am sure he is going to get so many toys he is 7, but a gift card is good too so he can get something he wants.

I wish I was 7 getting the cool toys they have out right now!!

As a librarian, books I think a 7 yr old understands a gift card.. but i think it may be even more fun for him to open the BOOKS

Do what I did for my fhs cousin

I gave her a coupon (made it from scrapbooking stuff) and it said

'You Pick It'
This coupon entitles you to ONE Hour of Shopping with Jenny at Barnes and Nobles

It was really alot of fun. I told her what she was able to spend, and it helped her with her math!! She had to add it all up and then at the end I got her Icecream!!
