NWR...DH wants to plan a trip....
DH wants to plan a little getaway to an island somehwere. But he is thinking sometime in August which is the start of hurricane season. Any suggestions for where to go?

I went to the Bahamas last August and it rained 2 out of the 5 days there. Maybe South Padre Island , since it;s not in the Atlantic?

Posted by agentangelINFO we LOVED mackinac island! There are no cars, and you can either stay on the island, or in the nearby town and take the ferry every day (15 mins).
Aruba would be good if you are looking for tropical
ETA: also, the nearby islands, Bonaire and Curacao
