NWR:every dollar counts
Like last year, my friends and I will be participating in the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk (at the Westbury Gardens) to help raise very important dollars that will support pancreatic cancer research. Last year, our team walked under the name 'Team Queens' and we raised close to $3,000 (the NY walk raised over $1 million in total, its best year yet!!). We are now under a new name, 'Stephanie's Angels' in memory of my friends mother Stephanie who lost her battle this past December. She was an 8-month survivor.
This year we hope to raise even more than last year's total donations. So far our team has raised over $1000 and has grown to nineteen team members (last year there was five of us). We have A LOT more money to raise and only 27 days to do so. Our team will need your help so we can reach our team goal. We are looking for walkers to join us and sponsors to help support our team.
