I found a place in Cedarhurst called Kiss and Make Up with this woman Amy Kernahan she apparently is an eyebrow guru and the website to see her info is www.thebeautyguru.com. I will let you all know how it goes...

I just did a little research (I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if anyone suggested this guy yet)...but Damone Robert's (aka The Eyebrow King) is opening a salon in NY in October. I'm not sure if the date is before your wedding. But he does an awsome job. He appears on various makeover shows on TLC. He does makeup in general but eyebrows are his specialty. I just called the salon in California and they said to sign up for the email list on www.damoneroberts.com and they will email everyone when they have the formal grand opening date. I'm planning on going to his salon when I start prepping my brows for the wedding.
I've gone through what you are doing right now, in terms of growing them out. Now that you have 2 months of growth you can probably get them cleaned up a bit, I recommend threading that what I do, and just have them create a line for you leaving it a little thicker but still clean that way you still have hair to shape.

PS- Tweezing i agree with- you can reshape and 'design' the prefect brow to your face. i learned that at esthetics school lol

yup all the big salons in manhattan do tweezing, i just hate how it feels and constantly getting plucked lol...when i wax and look at the cloth with the hair taken off i say i take off more than ppl even have lol
