NWR....FFIL

So....we were at FIL's house on saturday night for a BBQ for FSIL's 21st bday. We were all sitting around the table (aunts/uncles/friends) and my FFIL looks at me and says 'have you been drinking coffee again'. I said, 'no, why?'. His response was 'Your face is breaking out again'.

I was mortified! I said, thanks for pointing that out to the entire table, I am sure they havent noticed. MY FH says, 'yeah, thanks for pointing that out'. I think he was a little mad that his dad said something, but didnt want to say anything to his father to make matters more uncomfortable for me.

Of course, I was soo self-conscience the rest of the evening AND the rest of the weeekend....I have 4 pimples...its that time of the month....I couldnt help it!

wow ***! i would have been mortified...its bad enough i think they think im fat everytime i see them.

sorry they did that. guys can be cruel. my dad says stupid things to FH but he handles it ok..i think its just a dad being stupid thing

I was mortified......everyone at the table tried to laugh it off and began to talk about their problems with breaking out at my age....that didnt help either. I said something to my FH later on that evening once we were home, and his response was,

'that's why my father is an @$$'

that made me laugh!

just wanna say i feel your pain, its that time of month for me too and i also get the same pimples in the same spot on my chin, its so aggrevating...its my fault bc i haven't been as consistent with proactiv, when i stay with it, they go away and skin stays clear.

ohmigosh i am so sorry - i HATE when people point stuff like that out!!!!!!!!!!
