Since me and the FH are new to the Island...we live in Syosset...we need to know where some good fun restaurants are that also have nice bars! We miss the city but love it out here too, we just need to know of more things to do at night! Thanks.

there is a fondu place opening in Melville...Melting Pot...it should be open in October. I go w/ FH in NJ all the time we love it. It will be on Rt 110 by Costco

ever been to the nautical mile in freeport?!
it's an entire block on of bars and restaraunts, all right on the water.
it's so much fun...you HAVE to get there while it's still warm out!

oh awesome!! it's really not dressy, i would say no heels but you wouldn't really be out of place if you did wear them. the bars are pretty much all outdoors, it's pretty laid back. for there i always dress cute w/o really getting dressed up.

you can go either way there. I have seen (and worn) both. I would say more casual though since many people come in to the restaurants by boat.

absolutely! I love their grilled chicken avocado sandwich! Fh's friend from HS owns it. A GTG there is a great idea

I love pomodorino's (italian) in massapequa, Croxley's (wings, steaks)in rockville centre, Taiko (sushi/japanese) in rockville centre
and it's not a place to get dressed up and they don't have a bar even though they serve drinks but if ur ever in freeport and want cheap but AMAZING spanish food u hafta stop by el sabor dominicano
