NWR:GPS?

so we all know how directionally challenged i am so I am willing to buy a GPS today.

i've been looking at the Garmin 255W.

anyone have it?

is it Mac compatible? fast? easy to use?

even if it is a piece of crap, i'm sure it'll be better than nothing

I've used both and both were great. I've also used TomTom and it was just fine. The differences are very slight. The one thing I would suggest- is spending the extra $30 or so and buying the one that says street names out loud. Otherwise they just say 'Left turn in 30 feet'.

I have some kind of garmin nuvi, and I love it! It's also got a blue tooth connection, so it's also great for talking on the phone! It's got some kind of radio connection/mp3 function, but I have a sirius radio and a plug for my ipod in the car so I don't really use that.

GL!
