We just got back from seeing Munich. It was good but a little too long for me and kind of disturbing. FH really liked it though.

We saw Munich this weekend. It was good, but definatly too long and apparently historically inaccurate. The acting was excelent.

I also saw Geisha. It was good, but the book was much, much better.

I've seen about 4 movies in the last week (yay for being off from work!) and the best one by far was Brokeback Mountain.

I can't wait to see it again.

We just rented Crash and we both thought it was good.

Good Night and Good Luck and Syriana were two good ones that I've seen recently.

The first one was better and even though it's about McCarthyism, it definintely parrallels what's going in our country today. Syriana is a bit muddled with so many plot lines, but I wasn't bored for a second. I'm impressed with George Clooney's work in both (not just his acting - his direction, too).

ETA: Crash was another excellent one. Afterward, I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach - sounds weird, I know, but the movie really gets to you.

An article on MSNBC said that a lot of the plot would be impossible... but it was still a good movie, worth seeing IMO.
