on facebook or a similar site who you ended a friendship with on bad terms, and now you are on good terms or even friends again? If it's something that happened so long ago, talking 5 plus years, is it even worth it?

only you can answer that. How was your friendship before things turned bad? Is this someone you truely miss having in your life?
I wouldn't do it just to do it. If I was going to friend someone from the past who I wanted to reconnect nad who I missed I would include a message too.

My college roommate and I had a really bad falling out, but somehow reconnected via facebook. I still sometimes think 'why am I talking to her?' but most of me is really happy that I get to talk to her every once in a while. It's weird to have such mixed emotions.

I was contacted by ths friend on FB that according to her I stopped talking to her because of a guy I was seeing. I stopped talking to her b/c of bs like that.
We met for lunch and things were good. Then my MOH who she is also friends with called me and said that this friend called her upset that I didn't ask HER to be my MOH, because I was friends longer with her than with MOH.
1st of all: We stopped about 7 years ago and 2nd: MOH and I never stopped talking
Then she wonders why I stopped talking to her, petty nonsense like that. So to answer your question, it all depends on the friend, if they have moved on and matured then yes it might be worth it, but if they haven't then I wouldn't bother.

yes. we became friends again, hanging out occasionally i invited her to my bach party, she said she would go. then she screwed me now she's not my friend again. i will not contact her again lol
anyway hopefully that wont happen to you. i dont regret contacting her though

I'm in contact with a lot of people on facebook that I had falling outs with at one time or another...then they friend requested me...like I feel like they were just trying to get their friend count higher...Anyway, the ones I really don't like, I sometimes look at their pictures and imagine their lives being terrible...mean, I know...lol

Yes! A good friend and I got in a fight surrounding her wedding and never talked again. I contacted her on FB 4 years later (last year) and we are on ok terms. Obviously the friendship isnt the same, but it's on the mend.

Yessssssss absolutely!!!!!!! This happened with 2 of my old friends that i left off on bad terms with and now we talk all the time again its great!!!! So happy for facebook for that reason

Yes...i contacted one friend that i havent talked to since college...she's also engaged. we've only emailed... but its always been me initiating the emails.. i sent her a std, but not sure if i would invite her to the wedding... i know its not courteous to do that..but whatevs i dont think she's inviting me to hers either since i havent really talked to her in months!
