NWR...I have an embarassing new addiction, and no, it is NOT LIW!

I am ashamed to say...My name is Michelle and I am addicted to Webkins!

Back when we were checking out halls, FH picked me up one when I was having a bad day...finally put it online, and I can't stop...I have LIW on one screen and my webkin on the other!

Anyone wanna be my webkin friend?

i hear about them all the time but i have no idea what they are!

They are these rip off stuffed animals that have this code...similar to the Tamagachi...you go online and play games and feed it and stuff like that...

One of my friends in my office got me hooked and i thought it would be cute to do with my neices...i am more obsessed than they are!

However, since my job is representing children as their attorneys, we both chose to justify it by saying that we want to relate better to our clients!!!

Yes, but between that and LIW, I will never get any work done in the office...I actually have to stay in court to get anything done, because it is all shot once I get to my office!

First, my students in NJ were obsessed....they were bringing them to music class! I squashed that! I think the trend was finally dying by the end of the year. Now my nieces and nephew are obsessed. I'm constantly buying retired Webkinz for my nieces birthdays! And it's so cute...the kids love to buy them for each other!

my niece & nephew have them!! Those kids were so smart that they asked their Aunt Kathy to log in and play games for them while they were at school so they could earn points & money!!! Very entrepreneurial...hahaha...or lazy...haven't figured out which!!!

I have to say around christmas FH forced me to buy him one, all his friends have them even friends parents do this, we were addicted and found a way to cheat and get lots of $$ and collect all the rare items... then the fun wore off, and I havent checked my accountin months but I was overly addicted, FH used to call me his 'cash cow' becasue I played that game so much!!! I actually know more adults on there then kids, which stinks for the kids cause I don't think they have much chance of winning at the games...my FH fav. game.... Supermodlz?? the one where you dress you pet up

its for children its a stuffed animal you buy for a rediclious amount of $ and then you sign it up online and it works for 1 year unless you add more pets to your house, and you buy rooms and decorate them, and play games and win webkins cash to buy everything with... totally for children, But were all hooked

Glad that I made everyone giggle!!! Personally, I would rather my clients waste away on the Webkin site, rather than screw around on MySpace, where they like to post pics of themselves doing drugs and throwing up gang signs...kids these days!
