NWR...I just got a newly designed driver's license.

NWR...I just got a newly designed driver's license.

It's pretty nice. My FH didn't get one though. Did anyone else???

I got one like two months ago and NO ONE i know has gotten theirs yet--

ETA: it's like more blue and has a weird hologram (sp?) on it.. it's similar but a little different. the back is very different. i'm an organ donor and usually you can check off what you want excluded, if anything, which i never excluded anything-- i mean, i'm dead! what do i need?? hahaha... so they did away with that, which makes sense to me, but i found it interesting. and you don't need a witness to sign it anymore!

my sister works for the DMV office...they redesigned the NY license...and anyone under 25 is being sent the new one automatically...over time...my FH's brother just got his while his girlfriend received hers months ago.

YES! When I did my name and address change, I was expecting it the mail, but I never thought I would get a license that looked like Florida???

the stupid thing is that they are sending the new cards to everyone, but they didnt change the expiration date! What a waste!! I just got my new one because i changed my name, and my 26th b-day is in a few weeks, but i still got the 25 & under card and it still expires early next year! What a PIA!

I got mine when I turned 21 in April. I like it.. except my picture is horrible... less than 9 months until I can change it!!

You would think that they would like notify people so that they new it was valid. It's funny b/c it actually looks a lot like the AZ driver's license (my parents live there). When I opened it I was thinking, why are they sending me one of these.

I got a new one mailed to me when I changed my address last year, it was the first new one I'd seen. It looks fake, with the squiggly hologram thing on it (at first, I thought a hair had fallen on it! )

Now more people would see them, but back then, when I would give it to people at stores, etc...they'd look at me kinda funny and stare at it

i just got mine - and first i tried to pick the 'hair' off of it - then my sister saw it on my dresser and she was like 'ew your hair is everywhere' but then she also realized it was that stupid hologram on it. . .

they definitely look like the belong to a much sunnier state like Florida or something!

I got it when I changed my name on my license in May. DH keeps looking at it saying how cool the hologram and stuff is. Then my coworkers were looking at it wondering when the change occured.

I'm not crazy about it, but at least I was able to take a new picture!!!
