NWR...ladies who use ebay...

Did you sign up for paypal? How exactly does it work. Thanks for your help in advance.

Be careful linking it to your bank account. some people say Paypal deducts $ without permission and they can't get it back. I think is in the case of disputes. This never happened to me but I only use Paypal with my credit card.
When someone sold me fraudulent stuff, ebay and paypal didn't help at all - even though many people had the complaint and I had decent proof.
AMEX credited my account and there was no problem.
My FIs theory on ebay is that as soon as you win - you've paid more than anyone else thought the item is worth!
I only buy gift cards there because I know what the value is.
(the problem with that is that they are often purchased with stolen credit cards and are worthless!)
just be careful. it's fun but addictive too.

I did - its easy! Its linked to your checking account (or I guess whatever account you sign up with). You win something on ebay, and you pay via PayPal. Its like using your debit card.

But Pay Pal does charge you a small service fee for using it. The only reason I would link it to a bank account if I was a seller. To receieve money it would be needed. Although I helped a lady w/ her PC once and she gave me $$ through paypal! It was like a credit on my account towards the next transaction.
