NWR:LI Haunted Houses Review

We went haunted house hoping last night. First started at North Babylon Fire Dept. which was very good. As we were waiting, some tweens got chased by a chain saw dead guy and came running out of the place. One girl took a nice fall and her friends had to jump out of her. The medic had to pick her up and bring her to the ambulance. :( The NBFD did a good job, I think it was $12 per person.
Second, we were off to Deep Park's Community Center ( we went on a friends iphone to look up where haunts were). They did an awesome job. More fun and scarier than the FD. It was supposed to be $12 but there were 9 of us, so they charged us $10. We all left a donation too. They had a person walk you through and inside was crazy! They had dead people crawling on the floor after you. Freaked me out!
Finally, the famous Schmitts Farm. We went there at like 10pm, line was long for tickets and looked like the maze line was HUGE, so we decided only on the haunted house. It was $23 for both, and 17 for house, 11 for maze. Standing in the ticket line some one was smoking weed, and there were a group of individuals that were holding 'water' bottles. Seriously, you need to drink that badly? One guy smelled worse than a bar! Other than that, the haunt was pretty good. There is a room that looks like it spins, and I was holding on to the railing for dear life, it was great! As we were waiting on the line to get in, the chain saw guy chased a girl and she yelled at him to get away, it was hysterical! All her friends left her, and she yelled at them for it.
All in all my fav was the Deer Park one, they did such a great job for such a small group.

I gave up on schmitts a few years ago. Too short.

Went to the gateway last night. Very theatrical. $18pp. Nice long inside outside haunt. Annoying people on line w us too and one woman held onto my coat the whole time.

Doing the darkside and the bayville FH this week. May do blood manor the week after halloween.

im going to the camp paquatic one of friday...im not sure if thats spelled right but its in moriches and its great...i think its 12 dollars and very long, you walk threw the woods then go there like 3 or 4 small haunted houses...we go every year for my brothers birthday
